You are to interpret to the Church the needs, concerns, and hopes of the world. God our Creator wanted for all of us happiness, contentment, peace, and especially good health. Good, clean humor can be a very important facet in changing our hectic lives. I encourage all of you to become purveyors of good humor by using this collection of jokes as a textbook. With it you can become an expert in making people laugh and I guarantee that you will feel better.

While in Catholic deacon formation, my classmates and I were told again and again that our priorities are: (1) marriage (2) supporting the family and (3) the diaconate. My next bit of advice: work really hard on (1) and (2)! The last thing the Church wants is for marriages to end .
